Flowery Branch Antiques Market

I went to the Flowery Branch Antiques Market today.  I had been one time before back in February.  There weren't too many vendors open then.  Today I went a little later & there were more vendors.  I started outside & there were lots of great things.  Old barnwood & beadboard, insulators, antlers, old rusty wrought iron table & chairs.  Unfortunately I didn't think to get a picture! :(  Inside there was tons of furniture begging to be painted & the vendors really seemed to want to work with you on the price.  There was one awesome booth right by the entrance that had really cool industrial & architectural pieces.  I did remember to take photos here! :)

These tobacco baskets were $15!!

These doors were 7 feet tall & only $20!  I didn't have the truck or I would have loaded up a few!

Sorry for the blurry photo but what a cool window!

What I came home with.

I liked this cabinet even though it isn't old.  Funny thing is I just bought this cabinet on Tuesday:

I was trying to decide what color to paint it.  Now I am thinking Destin Gulf Green or maybe Traverse City Cherry.  Decisions, decisions.

  3. The things you came home with look like things I come home with, too!
    You caught my eye. :)

  4. Looks like a great place to shop - loved that window!

  5. Jill,
I just purchased your buffer brush. I thought it was a wax application brush. Would you please let me know how you use this on the drill. I news to know the dry time of the wax before you buff.
