Media Cabinet

This was the last piece I am doing for a couple that is redoing their bedroom.  They told me they wanted this petite chest for their tv.  I suggested we remove the top drawer & put a board in it for the cable box.  Easier said then done!  When you remove the drawers to this chest it is basically hollow, nothing between where the drawers go.  It really took some thinking & several thin pieces of wood but it worked & now I want one for myself!  I painted it in Duck Egg Blue & lightly distressed.  I sealed it with Fiddes clear wax.

After: (sorry for the crappy pictures, it wasn't here long after I finished it & it never made it into the house for it's photo shoot)
